139 years ago today, Olive, Nellie, Estelle, Bessie, Bertha, Anna and Amy formed our beloved sisterhood. Today, we celebrate them, the founding of Alpha Chi Omega and the incredible history we've made since 1885. Happy Founders' Day! ❤️💚 Comment with your chapter of initiation/school and tag a sister you’re thankful to be connected with through Alpha Chi! Pictured in this photo from December 1885 are the seven Founders, plus the first eight new members.

We’re using this #DVAM to spread awareness on financial abuse. 78% of Americans do not recognize financial abuse as a form of DV, but it occurs in 99% of DV cases! Financial abuse is a common method for abusers to gain power and control and is one of the most powerful ways to keep a survivor trapped in an abusive relationship. Need support or resources? Text “START” to 88788 or visit thehotline.org.
