You ever feel guilty for working too much? Chances are you have. The past few years of starting my business, Alpha Matrix, I think I’ve felt this more times than I can count. I was listening to a short clip here on LinkedIn the other day talking about how there is only one of us. Obviously right? But then I kept listening and what she meant was - were only one person, but we have so many different roles we play in the lives we build. Spouse, parent, brother, sister, friend, employee, entrepreneur…but we can’t be all of those things at once. There’s no way. But if you look at your day to day, who are? Break it down. Where do you spend most your time down to your least amount of time. Doing this was shocking but at the same time it wasn’t. When I looked at the list I definitely knew how they all connected but also which ones were the most important. What I have been trying lately, is, to do my best to give 100% of me, 100% of my attention, to the things that matter most when I am in that role. Like when my kids get home from school - putting a way work, and giving them all of my attention because let’s face it parents - kids, we blink and they grow and time is missed. I guess the point to this post is to evaluate your time - see if you’re spending it wisely, if you’re giving you 100% or 50% or 25%. I know we all have to make money, but time is your most valuable currency. I hope this helps someone today.

Hey Everyone, I don’t usually post things like this, but it is on my heart today. I share sad news of a family friend who suffered a life altering seizure last Thursday. After 5 days of waiting for results, the results show she has suffered severe brain injury. She has two boys and life just changed everything for them.
