So, you think all you have to do is post on LinkedIn to gain influence because you don't have time to engage with the content of others. Well... I engage for about 60 minutes a day on the content of others before I engage with my content. I also only normally only engage with those 2nd and 3rd degree connections that engage with my content because those are the people, I might want to build relationships with. Sometimes you just need to shave off some time to engage if you want the results you want. Sometimes you have to ask more questions to better understand someone. Do you struggle during those interviews knowing how to answer those questions? If so, start with the following: ➡️Review the job description and your qualifications and make note of any questions you have about the company or role. ➡️Research the company and role by reading their mission, vision, recent press releases and social media. ➡️Consider your answers to common interview questions and use the STAR method to structure them. The STAR method stands for Situation, Task, Action and Result. It helps you provide specific and relevant examples of your skills and achievements. ➡️Practice your speaking voice, body language and presentation skills. You can record yourself answering some questions and watch it back to see how you can improve. ➡️Conduct mock interviews with a friend or family member and ask for feedback on your performance. ➡️Prepare thoughtful questions for the interviewer that show your interest and enthusiasm for the role and company. ➡️Print hard copies of your resume and bring them with you to the interview. ➡️Pick out something suitable and comfortable to wear that matches the company culture and dress code. ➡️ No caffeine within 24 hours of your interview. We need your mouth and brain on the same page. I hope this helps you ace your next interview.
