Happy National Buffet Day! Today, we celebrate the joy of indulging in an array of delectable dishes at the grandest feasts! Whether you're a seasoned buffet enthusiast or a first-timer, let's make the most of this foodie extravaganza together. Buffet Dining Etiquette 101: 1. Start Small, Sample All: Begin with a small plate to sample various dishes. It's all about variety, so don't be afraid to try something new! 2. Mindful Manners: Remember your manners, even in the excitement of a buffet. Wait your turn, and if there's a line, be patient. 3. Utensil Smarts: Use the proper serving utensils for each dish, and please, no double-dipping! Hygiene is crucial, especially when sharing communal serving tools. 4. Seat Selection: Once you've loaded up your plate, find a seat before diving in. This helps keep traffic flowing smoothly around the buffet area. 5. Take Only What You Need: It's tempting to grab everything in sight, but be considerate of others. Take what you can reasonably eat. 6. Dress Code: Check if there's a specific dress code for the buffet venue. Some places may require a certain level of formality, even for casual buffets. 7. Kids' Corner: If you're dining with little ones, guide them through buffet manners. It's a great opportunity to teach them about trying new foods and respecting the dining space. 8. Express Appreciation: If you enjoyed a particular dish, let the chefs or kitchen staff know. A simple compliment can go a long way in boosting their morale. What's your favorite buffet dish, and do you have any buffet dining tips to share? Let's make this National Buffet Day a feast to remember!

National Champagne Day-December 31st Many people make the mistake of calling all wines with bubbles champagne. However, this is incorrect. Technically, only wines with bubbles made in the Champagne region of France are true champagne. Everything else is sparkling wine. The Art of Gratitude: How to Write a Thoughtful Thank You Note In times like these, expressing gratitude through handwritten notes can lift spirits. Whether you received a thoughtful gift, an act of kindness, or a home-cooked meal from a loved one, a heartfelt thank you note is always appreciated. Though we're busy, taking the time shows someone they matter. Finding the words, however, can be intimidating. Don't overthink it. Thank you notes simply convey appreciation. Approach writing from a place of gratitude, and the words will flow naturally. Follow these tips to craft a meaningful note: Choose stationery fitting the occasion and recipient's style. Stock up on cards after holidays when sales abound. Send within 48 hours of receiving a gift to show you prioritized expressing thanks. Handwrite notes - not emails or texts - to reciprocate the care taken for you. Handwritten mail stands out in the digital age. Date the top and include a warm greeting with the recipient's name. In the body, specify the gift or gesture you're thankful for and why it was thoughtful. Mention how you'll enjoy the gift. Add a personal touch about your relationship. Close with a signature. For an extra touch, include a photo of you using the gift. Best regards, Tami Claytor Owner Always Appropriate: Image & Etiquette Consulting https://lnkd.in/eBw9v_G4 …Because Image Is Everything!
