On Friday, we had our annual Trunk or Treat, an event where our supporters decorate their trunks and hand out candy and crafts to our brave warriors and their families! There were amazing costumes and lots of laughs! 🎃 We want to give a huge shoutout to one of our talented warrior dads/DJS who provided the music. Thank you, Mr. Frank! We also want to shout out the SUNDT Foundation who provided the lighting for this event. You were a vital part of making this happen! And last, a huge thank you to everyone who spent time decorating their trunks and passing out candy. Although each trunk was amazing, our warriors thought there were two that stood out above the rest! 🏆 Congratulations to our 2024 Most Creative Trunk: VOS' Cookie Monster 🍪 💙 🏆 Congratulations to our 2024 Best Overall Trunk: VOS' Pirate Ship 🏴☠️ ⚓ . . . #TrunkOrTreat #childhoodcancerawareness #communitysupport #AmandaHope #majordistractions #familyevents #childhoodcancer #childhoodcancerevents #warriors #fightlikeakid #bighugs #cancer #cancerresources #childhoodcancerawareness #bighugs #forthekids #fightcancerforkids #kidsgetcancertoo #pediactriccancer #childhoodcancerawareness #cancerresources #cancercommunity #cancer #chemo #hope #cancersupport #bringingjoy #cancersucks #freeresource

About us
Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels is a nonprofit, support and educational organization designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible, tax-exempt organization, founded in 2012 in celebration of Amanda Hope’s life that ended all too soon when she lost her battle against Leukemia. During her four year fight, Amanda Hope dreamed that one day she would design a fun clothing line for kids just like her that would provide comfort and dignity during chemo treatments. Amanda Hope’s life ended all too soon when she lost her battle with Leukemia, but her dream lives on! Today, Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels is so much more than a clothing line. We provide free oncology counseling to families fighting childhood cancer and other illness, financial aid and "major distractions" to help relieve the stress that families and children experience during and after treatment. We teach Family Centered Care to hospital and healthcare professionals and provide a safe space for families, children and teens to connect. Our hope is that we bring sunshine to each and every little warrior's journey, every single day!

Thank you for attending this special evening! Sending you and First International Bank & Trust #BigHugs 🎗️ 🦋
It was a great honor to attend and support the 12th annual Night of Hope gala for Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels at the iconic Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. The theme ‘Fight Like a Kid’ embodies the strength and courage of the cancer warriors. This is a quote from the founder Lorraine Tallman “This year’s gala is incredibly special… Amanda’s legacy continues to guide everything we do, and the milestone serves as a poignant reminder of how vital our mission is” 🎗️🦋🌈💖 At First International Bank & Trust we recognize that strong relationships with a community bank is a key to success for many nonprofits.

Thank you, Scott, for volunteering your time with us. It is hard to put into words the emotions that we feel while working with these warriors, but you did it so well. Every day that we are able to support these families is a blessing. It is because of kind and generous hearts like yours that we are able to do what we do. 🎗️

I wanted to share a quick heartfelt reflection on volunteering for Sundt Construction and our SUNDT FOUNDATION at a Trunk or Treat for Children battling Cancer. All I am doing is manning lights for this event and my life has been changed forever. There are moments in life that shift our perspective, moments that make us pause and reflect on what truly matters and this minute as I sit in my truck and type this post on my iPhone, is one of those very moments. It is hard to put into words the emotions that are flooding through me as I sit here watching these brave little souls move from vehicle to vehicle, collecting candy with smiles on their faces. Some of the children have no hair, others wearing masks due to their compromised immune systems, and a few are too weak to walk, being gently wheeled around. Some have tubes taped to their faces, signs of the treatments they endure daily. Yet, despite these unimaginable challenges, these children are smiling, loving every moment, and even dancing in their wheelchairs to Halloween tunes playing by the DJ. Their resilience is humbling. In these moments, I am reminded of how insignificant my everyday stresses of life truly are. None of the bills that always seem to pile up, work pressures, or conflicts I have in my life could compare to the hardships these children and their families face daily. I realize I would gladly take on ten times the problems I’ve encountered in my entire life if it meant sparing a child from enduring what these brave little babies are going through right now. I’m always giving back to my community, but I can’t help but feel that what I do pales in comparison to the work of these people who volunteer daily in the lives of these children. They are true HEROS! There is no doubt in my mind that these children are angels, placed on this earth by God showing us the power of resilience and joy in the face of unimaginable hardships. God bless them and protect them always! Thank you Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels for putting a lasting impact on me. These little souls, full of courage and joy despite their circumstances, have reminded me of what really matters in life: love, compassion, and gratitude for every moment we are given. #sundtservice #givingback #endcancer #construction

Every year, we have the opportunity to share the stories of some of our warriors. Although each one of our families is on a similar path, each one has their own story to tell: their own diagnosis, treatment, fears, and struggles. Each family is impacted in some form by the programs we can provide them. Maybe it was our Major Distraction events that provided a light in a dark time, or maybe it was our Financial Assistance that kept their lights on or their tanks full.💛🎗️ Thank you, Wilco Productions for capturing what our programs can be to our families, for telling their stories, and for capturing exactly why it is so important for people to give. 🙏 🌈 Although our NOH is over, there is still an opportunity to make an impact.
