Ameren workers across Illinois and Missouri arrived to help Appalachian Power with the restoration efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene. This is part of the electric power industry's mutual assistance network through Edison Electric Institute to assist communities throughout the country impacted by catastrophic events.

Welcome Christy George as the new CEO of Intersect Illinois. Christy is a great choice to lead the efforts to attract businesses and create jobs in the state of Illinois. Now more than ever, the availability of dispatchable, always-on electricity and natural gas service is a critical factor in company's decision on where to locate. We look forward to partnering with Christy George, Gov. J.B. Pritzker, and the entire Intersect Illinois team to give Illinois the best opportunity to win economic development projects and grow the future of Illinois. #BeInIllinois #economicdevelopment #publicprivatepartnership #IntersectIllinois
