Politicians hate it, but the Nippon-US Steel deal is good for America Many politicians oppose Nippon Steel’s buyout offer for U.S. Steel. Among them are President Biden, former President Trump, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) — and, now, Vice President Harris as well. “U.S. Steel should remain American-owned and American-operated,” she said on Sept. 2. https://lnkd.in/g-hKEuTy

#FactFriday: Did you know up to 99% of coal combustion emissions can be abated? There are existing and available advanced coal abatement technologies that make coal a legitimate choice for over 100 nations. We need to stop talking about energy elimination and focus on energy ADDITION. Renewables cannot do it alone. An energy addition approach manages demand fluctuations, boosts energy security, and promotes economic stability. For coal-producing and consuming nations, coal remains one of the best options for reliable, affordable, and secure power. It's time to #GetCOALFACTUAL NOT EMOTIONAL. #Coal #SustainableCoal #energy
