Today’s Member Spotlight celebrates our first New Professional member Emma Marler, BSDH, RDH! A recent Old Dominion University School of Dental Hygiene graduate, Emma was excited to learn she could transition her former student membership into the New Professional category for recent grads and was the first in line to do it! Emma’s interest in supporting her professional growth in organized dentistry was piqued as an ADHA student chapter member at ODU. She served as a student delegate for the 2022 VDHA House of Delegates Meeting and was hooked! Emma brings her passion for oral healthcare to her practice in Chesapeake, VA and to her community service work through local dental clinics. She encourages all dental hygiene students to stay dedicated and embrace every learning opportunity. When she's not championing dental hygiene or mentoring students, you'll find Emma enjoying beach days with family which include her pets!
