While some may slow down on Day 2, we went even bigger! Together with FTI Consulting and White & Case LLP, we hosted a 3 hour cocktail extravaganza (YES, we said 3 hours!) and welcomed more than a hundred of our members, friends and colleagues (and even some regulators)! Special thanks to Elizabeth Glaser, Janet Hale, CRCM, CERP, Josh Drobnyk and Rachel Rodman for joining our own Rebecca O'Mara and Phil Goldfeder for a very busy and truly memorable evening in #LasVegas! Throughout the day we met with so many amazing partners and members but few who could match the energy and smarts of Maxime Seguineau and Vincent Toesca of Raido Capital Partners, Joe Maxwell of JAM FINTOP and of course Laura Kornhauser, CEO and Co-Founder of Stratyfy! When Day 1 at Money20/20 includes some of the greats like Simon Taylor and Peter Renton, hard to imagine what the next few days have in store (we think you are great too Eugene Shvartsman)! Our own Rebecca O'Mara and Phil Goldfeder spent their first day in #LasVegas meeting with so many members and friends! Lunch with Amy M. Pugh, #GeneralCounsel at Green Dot Corporation, Jesse Honigberg of Customers Bank and Juan Azel, #Partner at Winston & Strawn LLP! We took an actual walk with one of our newest members Eli Wachs 👣 of Footprint who has built an identity verification platform that is changing the game in fraud prevention and compliance! Finally, an intimate dinner with more than 2 dozen banks and fintech companies that we co-hosted alongside Neha Narkhede and her amazing team at Oscilar, an AI-powered Risk Decisioning platform and Lee Easton, Founder and President of iDENTIFY! Tremendous #ThankYou to Julapa Jagtiani and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia for hosting the 8th Annual Fintech Conference this week! Great to see so many members and friends including the tireless Jeanette Quick, Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury (who will also be speaking at the #AFC Policy Summit on November 19). Phil joined the mainstage with Peter Hazlehurst, CEO of Synctera, Chris Dean, CEO of Treasury Prime and Amanda Swoverland of Unit moderated by our great friend Jonah Crane of the Klaros Group to discuss #BaaS, #EmbeddedFinance and the best path forward to create the best experience and #access for consumers. 

Our Full Agenda Is Now Live! Ok, so maybe it won’t break the internet, but we can assure you it’s very awesome! We were on the ground in #Nebraska for #FlyoverFintech hosted by #Congressman Mike Flood! As a University of Nebraska-Lincoln alumni, our own Director of Federal Government Affairs, Hayden Cole was right at home with so many others who travelled to the state capital city in #Lincoln to talk #Fintech! Thanks to all the members of the house, including Congressman Andy Barr and so many of our partners and friends including Glen Herrick, senior advisor at the Klaros Group and former CFO at Pathward and other panelists including the great Hilary Halpern of Rocket Companies!

“As discussed in AFC’s comment letter to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau #responsible #fintech companies and #innovative #banks can leverage consumers’ data to offer improved products and services to historically underserved communities and provide additional responsible services beyond those the consumer initially sought. AFC recognizes and appreciates the monumental effort put forward by the #CFPB to establish a robust #OpenBanking framework through the finalization of its Personal Financial Data Rights rule #1033.
