We had an incredible time at this year’s NHRA: Championship Drag Racing Stampede of Speed, celebrating “The Fastest Ten Days in Texas!” at Texas Motorplex. Where horse meets horsepower in a thrilling blend of racing and Western tradition. Our champion hats were proudly worn by winners and fans alike. Until next year, we’re already looking forward to 2025!➕✖️

In times of tragedy, the strength of a community truly shines. It’s about neighbors helping neighbors and coming together when it matters most. Our good friends at Mountain Mule Packer Ranch have stepped up in a big way, taking it upon themselves—with the help of their incredible mules—to deliver much-needed supplies to those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Hurricane Helene has left many families struggling, and the journey to recovery will be a long one. That’s why efforts like these are so important. The team at Mountain Mule Packer Ranch is navigating through difficult terrain, making sure that those hit hardest by the storm aren’t left without the essentials they need. It’s a powerful reminder of how, even in the face of such destruction, we can always count on the kindness and resilience of our community to help rebuild and restore hope.➕✖️🇺🇸

I've owned countless hats over the years but this one means the most. This hat changed the way I shape my own hats. The man who gave it to me shaped the way I work to change the world. Keith Mundee ➕✖️

This weekend, Keith Maddox, known as "The Hat King," was honored with the inaugural Barry Corbin Award for Grit and Generosity by the nonprofit Roundup for Autism in Fort Worth. The award was presented to wife Susan and daughters Treasure and Mercedes. For decades, Maddox played a pivotal role in the organization as a board member and sponsor, always quick to offer help in any capacity. "Keith was a mentor and supporter to hundreds of cowgirls and cowboys, making countless contributions to the rodeo community. It was an honor to call him my friend," said Roundup for Autism president, Norris. Emmy Award-winning actor Barry Corbin echoed this sentiment, noting that Maddox’s business acumen, combined with his deep generosity, made him a revered figure not only in Texas but across the international Western community, cementing his legacy as a champion of grit, generosity, and giving back.
