In a significant move against online hate, Meta announced that starting today, it will remove content targeting Zionists with conspiratorial and antisemitic claims, or using "Zionist" for dehumanizing comparisons, calls for harm, or denial of existence. We thank Meta for leading the industry in addressing hate speech and listening to the concerns of the Jewish community, including those of AJC. AJC's 2023 data shows that American Jews feel more unsafe than ever. Countering antisemitism requires a whole-of-society approach.
