Create a rain garden. Rain gardens use native plants and grasses to capture and absorb rainwater from rooftops and roads. These planned gardens help simplify lawn maintenance, control erosion, and reduce runoff into streams and storm water systems. #SourceWaterProtectionWeek

When Tropical Storm Debby swept through Central Pennsylvania, a major water main broke in Camp Hill, leaving many residents without access to clean drinking water. We were able to quickly coordinate with the Camp Hill Borough and respond to the emergency by handing out 30 tractor trailer loads of water to any Camp Hill residents who needed it and as quickly as possible restored the broken water main. Thank you to the Camp Hill Borough for their leadership and collaboration! We could not have responded so quickly without you. Jennifer Hoover, Camp Hill Borough Council President, shared more with PennLive about our combined efforts in response to Debby: https://lnkd.in/eNJu7mq3
