Meet Jami Reyes! What do you do at Americaribe? As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, I manage new business development with a primary focus on Florida, maintain existing client relationships, handle community and governmental relations for our projects, and oversee communications for the US and Caribbean. Where are you from? I was born in San Pedro Sula (raised in a town called Pimienta) in Honduras, Central America. How has your heritage impacted your journey? I came to the US as a child and grew up in Washington, DC, during a time when there were few Latino families.. Yet, I’ve always held onto my Honduran roots, proudly sharing stories about my country and the small town where I grew up. Being connected to another culture has given me a deeper sense of empathy. Living through the challenges and rewards of navigating different cultural environments has helped me appreciate diverse perspectives and this understanding has made it easier for me to imagine what others are going through, even if their background or situation is different from mine. My door is always open, and there’s always room at my table for anyone who wants to be a part of it. #BuildingforLife #Americaribe #HispanicHeritageMonth #MeettheTeam #Construction #Engineering #SouthFlorida
