Yes, AMG's engineers are skilled, creative, knowledgeable, and experienced. But they're also hands-on. They're at home in industrial plants and facilities. In fact, many members of our team have come from careers in the same types of facilities that we've been designing and building for the last 45 years. We know facilities and we know the systems and processes they're built around. It's what gives us an edge when it comes to engineering designs that are innovative AND practical. AMG is committed to supporting American manufacturing. Being headquartered in Ohio, a national leader in manufacturing, it’s hard not to be committed to this sector. Ohio ranks third in the nation in manufacturing jobs, ranks first in the nation for glass, plastics, and rubber manufacturing employment, and second for paper, primary metal, machinery, electrical equipment, appliance, and component manufacturing employment. The state annually produces more than $134 billion in manufactured goods. (Source: Ohio Department of Development) Ohio has seen a surge of major high tech manufacturing projects launched like Intel Corporation's semiconductor facility, American Honda Motor Company, Inc. and LG Electronics North America's EV battery plant, Graphite One Inc.'s graphite anode plant, and Joby Aviation's first full-scale air taxi manufacturing facility. While we may be most known for our work in agriculture, chemical, and mineral processing, we’ve been supporting the manufacturing industry for decades as well. With a full range of engineering disciplines and construction management leaders in-house, we are able to partner with manufacturers on almost any project, including concept development, preliminary engineering, retrofitting, specifications and procurement, debottlenecking, coordination studies, arc flash analysis, instrumentation and controls design, and so much more. One of our best tools for supporting manufacturing is, AMG Custom Controls, our in-house UL 508A custom control panel shop. This entity enables us to deliver UL-certified control panels that perfectly integrate into our clients' operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient control systems for a range of industrial applications. With AMG Custom Controls, we handle every aspect of control panel design and fabrication under one roof, offering benefits like: • Quality & Compliance: As a UL 508A-certified shop, our panels meet strict safety and operational standards. • Customization & Integration: Tailored to each client’s specific needs, our panels seamlessly integrate with their systems, from PLCs to power distribution. • Speed & Precision: Since our team manages everything from engineering to assembly, we deliver precisely built solutions on time and on target. Our team of engineers, technicians, and fabricators brings innovation and expertise to every manufacturing project. We’re proud to power American manufacturing, helping clients achieve safety, productivity, and reliability with every project. To all our partners and peers in the manufacturing sector—thank you for the work you do, and here’s to the next generation of American-made progress! #NationalManufacturingDay #AMGEngineering #AMGCustomControls #MadeInAmerica #UL508A #mechanicalengin...

Celebramos el Mes de la Hispanidad! Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! AMG was founded by Alberto Mendez, a proud Hispanic entrepreneur from Mexico, and today, our second-generation leadership continues to honor those roots. It is a part of who we are, influencing our passion for innovation, hard work, and building strong, lasting relationships with our clients and community. You can find it in the rich diversity of the people that make up AMG, from our families, to our traditions, to the occasional "abuela" treatment we enjoy, making sure we are all well fed! (And trust us, there's no office cake like tres leches office cake!) From designing cutting-edge industrial facilities to delivering solutions that shape industries, our team embraces the diversity and heritage that makes us who we are. This month, join us as we celebrate the many contributions of the Hispanic community to the fields of engineering, manufacturing, and beyond. National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually in the U.S. from September 15 to October 15. It recognizes the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the nation's history, culture, and achievements. The celebration begins mid-September to coincide with the independence anniversaries of Latin American countries like Mexico, Costa Rica, and Chile. Originally established as a week in 1968 by President Lyndon B. Johnson, it was expanded to a month by President Ronald Reagan in 1988. Each U.S. president has issued annual proclamations since then. #MesDeLaHispanidad #HispanosEmprendedores #OrgulloHispano #HispanicHeritageMonth #MBE

What an amazing gathering of innovators! The designing and building of the facilities of the future is at the heart of what we do. We made invaluable connections at World Bio Markets & Bio Innovations Midwest and we're already looking forward to next year!
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁! The words ‘enthusiasm’ and ‘untapped potential’ came up time and again in my conversations on site, so we’re already looking forward to next year’s event in Omaha, September 15 & 16, 2025. Three things I learnt in the meantime: ➡ The Midwest is so much more than a collection of fly over states – it is the beating heart of US bio manufacturing and integral to it’s growth, with access to abundant feedstocks and waste streams, power, water, plenty of space and excellent infrastructure, Government support and incentives, major corporates and key supply chain partners, and a good quality of life. ➡ Change is coming and there is a huge opportunity for scale up partners, service providers and construction firms – who is designing, building and operating the plants and facilities of the future? ➡ A cowboy hat is a badge of honour and has to be earned (here’s looking at you Paul MacDonald and Toby Duckworth) And a huge thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters: https://lnkd.in/eUwmpizK World Bio Markets & Bio Innovations Midwest #bioeconomy #biomanufacturing

Last week, we announced an exciting opportunity to secure DOE funding to advance your biomanufacturing project and the submission deadline is now only ~2 weeks away! If your company is developing biomanufacturing technologies to decarbonize high-emission industries such as food and beverage, chemicals, iron, steel, aluminum, cement, or glass, you may be eligible for this funding. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is offering up to $250,000 in funding support and has selected Synonym as an execution partner to deliver comprehensive pre-development services for eligible decarbonization projects. As a selected provider for the DOE’s Industrial Decarbonization Projects Voucher Opportunity (Voucher 9), Synonym can help you maximize this opportunity. What You’ll Receive: With a maximum voucher value of up to $250,000 per project, you’ll receive a detailed project development roadmap, setting the stage for commercial-scale production. The roadmap includes essential deliverables such as techno-economic analysis (TEA), product carbon footprint estimates, pro forma financial modeling, FEL-1 engineering, and preliminary site evaluations—all at no cost to you. Eligibility: Industrial decarbonization is defined as technologies and processes—including biomanufacturing—that achieve significant and quantifiable emissions reduction in high-emission production processes. This includes production processes for iron, steel, aluminum, cement, concrete, glass, food and beverage, chemicals, and more. How to Apply: To learn more or for assistance with your application, don't hesitate to contact our team at contact@synonym.bio. For the official voucher opportunity details and application, please visit this webpage for more information: https://lnkd.in/eZByWNRy Don’t miss this opportunity to advance your project’s efforts with DOE funding and Synonym’s support. Voucher applications are due by September 12, 2024, at 3:00 PM ET. #biomanufacturing #bioeconomy #DOE #fermentation #grants #precisionfermentation #deeptech #VO9 #decarbonization
