501(c)(3) Amplifying education and careers in the Thoroughbred industry
About us
‘Thoroughbred industry’ is an all-encompassing term referring to the breeding, raising, training, racing, retirement and responsible aftercare of Thoroughbred horses. If you are interested in educational or career opportunities with horses, contact Amplify today. Amplify’s mission is “amplification” of the sport of horse racing. We will accomplish this by supporting and enhancing the great things our industry is already doing, while creating and developing new opportunities that lead us into the future. Amplify seeks to expand touchpoints and lower barriers to entry, welcoming all backgrounds, organizations, initiatives, riding disciplines, or age groups to be involved. Our goal is to generate positivity, find common ground and areas for collaboration.

Check out this wonderful TV segment about the programming Amplify Horse Racing conducted in Saratoga this summer! Amplify started these behind-the-scenes tours back in 2019 for students to learn about careers in the Thoroughbred industry. Now in its 5th year, The New York Racing Association partnered with Amplify on the program, calling it the NYRA LEG UP Program with Amplify Horse Racing. Amplify Executive Director Annise Montplaisir worked behind the scenes to develop the schedule, organize speakers, coordinate details with local youth groups, and guide around 60 participants on their tours. Thank you to all the volunteers who participated as speakers, including trainers, representatives from the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association, industry journalists, and NYRA employees https://lnkd.in/gQBnr3MQ
