Last week, AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance and the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection (CSCP) co-hosted the seminar “Intelligent Corrosion Control” at the 22nd International Corrosion Congress in Xian, China. Led by AMPP Past President and official representative to the International Maritime Organization, Terry Greenfield, the seminar featured 14 insightful presentations on topics like smart materials, corrosion monitoring, and predictive modeling. Over 100 industry professionals attended, including asset owners, contractors, inspectors, and researchers. To thank attendees and gather feedback, AMPP hosted a luncheon where discussions continued on corporate memberships, student clubs, and AMPP standards.
