🍖 Our Nashville team had a great time at the BBQ in Red Shoes, a charity cook-off event organized by the Construction Leadership Council and the Associated General Contractors of TN, Middle Tn Branch! While we didn't compete, we fired up the grill and shared some BBQ with everyone for a great cause! Since its first cook-off in 2010, this event has raised over $140,000 to support families through the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville. We recently partnered with Johnson Controls to transform an underutilized storage space at a northern suburban high school into an engaging, hands-on learning environment. This 3,000 sq. ft. space is now fully equipped with cutting-edge demonstration equipment, showcasing a range of commercial installations, including hot and chilled water systems for an air handler, fan coil unit, and various other terminal units. We also incorporated typical residential setups, featuring a heat pump and high-efficiency furnace/condensing units. By creating this interactive learning space, we’re not only enhancing the educational experience but also inspiring the next generation of skilled trades professionals. As students return to school, we’re proud to be playing a part in encouraging future talent to explore the world of mechanical construction and HVAC. ❄️ 🏗️ We’re proud to announce the start of our CO2 refrigeration system installation at a new 215,000-square-foot cold storage facility in Northwest Indiana, CORE X CROWN. Our team, in partnership with Stevenson Crane, Rigging & Heavy Haul have successfully lifted and positioned nine rooftop penthouse units onto the 60-foot-high roof. Once complete, this facility will be equipped with an advanced refrigeration system that includes nine rooftop penthouses, three CO2 rack systems, three gas coolers, and six hanging dock evaporators. Upon completion, this facility will feature automated pack-and-hold storage for 28,500 pallets, ensuring maximum efficiency and capacity. Currently, we’re in the initial phase of this 3-phase project, and we’re excited to see it progress.
