Ancon Construction, in collaboration with Arkos Design, built a new plan & spec, two-story, 1,640-square-foot building at Elcona Country Club, located at 56784 CR 21 in Bristol, Indiana. This project replaced the club's outdated concessions building near the pool. Designed with functionality and convenience in mind, the lower level is set at pool deck elevation, catering to pool guests. In contrast, the upper level opens onto the golf course to serve golfers at "The Turn." The facility will house a full commercial kitchen and dining space, ensuring top-tier service for all visitors. Ancon Construction is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County on the new Homeownership Training Center and Main Office at 524 E. McKinley Ave, Mishawaka. The groundbreaking ceremony, which took place on October 17, kicked off the transformation of the 11,500-square-foot renovation of a former medical office building. This updated center will feature offices, conference rooms, open workspaces, and a 60-person training room, all designed to maximize natural light. Set to serve 750 to 1,000 community members annually, it will offer vital programs on budgeting, home maintenance, and more, empowering individuals for successful homeownership. #AnconConstruction #HabitatForHumanity #CommunityBuilding

🌶️🔥 Ancon Construction's Third Annual Chili Cookoff was SPICY! 🔥🌶️ Last Friday, 19 unique pots of chili went head-to-head, but only three could emerge victorious! 🥇 Howard Fagre from J&B West Roofing and Construction locked down 1st place AGAIN with his smoked "Lock the Door" chili dish! 🥈 Amy Self from Ancon spiced up the competition with her delicious "Smokin' Garden Delight," featuring a base of homemade tomato soup! 🥉 Bryan Baer from Ancon kept the heat on with his bold "Chili is not Soup," reminding us that he's still in the game! Special shoutout to our awesome judges: Bret Robertson from Buffalo Wild Wings, Aileac Deegan from Ryan's Place, and Ron Webb from Goodwill of Michiana! Thank you for braving the heat! Last week, Ryan's Place broke ground on their new 18,000-square-foot Home for Healing Hearts. Last week, a group from Ancon Construction volunteered at the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. Together, we packed 250 boxes for their third annual Turkeys on the Table event, which will provide families in need with a turkey and meal box for Thanksgiving. The Food Bank’s goal is to support 10,000 households across six counties this year, and we’re proud to have contributed to this important cause in our community!
