CONGATULATIONS OAKLAWN! Yesterday, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of completing the renovation of the Oaklawn Psychiatric Center on Madison Street in South Bend. This project involved a comprehensive interior renovation of a 58,850-square-foot, three-story medical building. The structure, which previously housed the Memorial Epworth Center, has been transformed into a modern, functional space to support Oaklawn's mission of providing quality psychiatric care to the community. #AnconConstruction #OaklawnPsychiatricCenter

We're excited to share the latest progress on our renovation project for Goodwill Industries of Michiana! 🏗️ This 50,000 sq. ft. transformation of the former Sears building at the old Pierre Moran Mall is shaping up beautifully. The project will house Goodwill’s Kids Excel Center, the Excel Center adult high school, and the Academy career training program. Key features include: 🏢 Office space designed for efficiency ☀️ A spacious student lounge with skylights and open ceilings 🎓 15 state-of-the-art classrooms for high school and career training 🚗 An automotive repair training area in the former Sears Auto Center Scheduled for completion later this year, this project marks another milestone in our longstanding partnership with Goodwill of Michiana, a relationship that began in the early 1990s! Ancon Construction is partnering with the Elkhart County 4-H Fair on the exciting Elkhart County Community Center (ECCC) project! We've begun laying the foundation for a brand-new 5,000-square-foot community building—complete with restrooms and a warming kitchen—that will serve as the gateway to the fairgrounds. The groundbreaking event taking place earlier this week. "Ancon Construction is proud to partner with the Elkhart County 4-H Fair on the Elkhart County Community Center (ECCC) project. Our design goals are centered on embodying the fair's values, as this facility serves as the gateway to the fairgrounds. Collaborating with Shelly Steury (Elkhart County 4-H Fair President/General Manager), Randi Yoder (Elkhart County 4-H Fair President-Elect), and the team has been a pleasure, and we're excited to bring this project to life," shares Ben King, Architect at Ancon Construction.
