Yesterday, was a very big day for our canal team. Cpt. Victor L Acevedo Jr. arranged another Police detail with the Maryvale Precinct of the Phoenix Police Department. The team was with the Community Action team lead by Sgt. Terry Laaker. The Canal Team rolled out with seven officers including Sgt. Laaker and they swept the Grand Canal from west of 27th Ave moving west and stopping at 75th Ave & Camelback Rd. They were able to officially trespass 7 individuals from the canal system.
