On November 10th, Jessica Bolden will celebrate 21 years with The Andover Companies—a milestone she never saw coming when she joined us as a temporary employee in 2003. What began as a short-term assignment quickly turned into something much more. "I cannot envision myself working anywhere but here," Jessica reflects, looking back on the friendships made, the strong sense of community, and the many opportunities she's had to make an impact by volunteering both in and out of the office. As the supervisor of the Word Processing department, Jessica leads a team of three, overseeing everything from typing letters and memos to providing loss control support for inspections. Always proactive, she's even cross-trained employees from other departments to help tackle big projects. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys Sudoku puzzles, reading, cooking, and walks outdoors. Recently, she earned her Health and Wellness Coach Certification through the American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA). If there's one new skill she'd love to master, it would be shuffle dancing. Jessica's an avid follower of Shuffle Mamas on Instagram and thinks the dance style looks fun. For Jessica, family is everything. She lives with her husband, Keith, her daughter, Jayda, and their beloved cat, Checkers. Her biggest inspiration is her mother, Lilian, who worked tirelessly for 43 years as an in-home childcare provider before retiring in 2021. Jessica describes her mother as patient, loving, and always looking for the good in every situation. If she could share a meal with anyone, it would be her late maternal grandmother, who passed away 31 years ago. "It would be nice to spend time with her again. We would have so much to catch up on!" The Andover Companies is fortunate to have someone as dedicated and joyful as Jessica on our team.
