🌟 Join us in celebrating Josep's anniversary at Animagic!🌟 His creativity and dedication drive our 3D department forward. Meet the Mastermind Behind the Magic in our interview below! 🎨 What is your role at Animagic? "I lead in the 3D department as a generalist, diving into everything related to 3D including modeling, rendering, texturing, and animation. I'm deeply involved in bringing our creative visions to life." 🎓 What was your path before joining Animagic? "My background is in Industrial Design, where I first discovered the joy of transforming designs from paper to 3D models, visualizing and personalizing them in ways only this medium allows. That passion led me to pursue this path." 🕹️ What are your hobbies and favorite off-work activities? "Video games have been my number one hobby since childhood, along with sports like volleyball and tennis. Spending time with my family, however, is irreplaceable and provides balance to my busy life." 🎮 Which Animagic projects have you loved working on? "Every project holds a special place in my heart, but 'Stay Dead' is perhaps my favorite. Having played video games all my life, being part of developing one is a dream come true." 📅 A Day in the Life: "My typical day involves checking on pending tasks, joining meetings to clarify certain tasks or issues, and occasionally connecting on Discord to chat or listen to music while we work. The camaraderie at Animagic is like family, making every day rewarding." 💡 What's been the most rewarding part of your past year at Animagic? "Seeing the 3D department grow in terms of projects has been incredibly rewarding, especially considering the effort we've put in. Developing video games with my brother, after years of gaming together, is something I never imagined would happen." ✨ Celebrating Luis on His 4-Year Animagic Anniversary! ✨ Today we’re celebrating one of our youngest team members, Luis, who’s been with Animagic for four years and counting! His skills in 3D modeling and rigging have been crucial to bringing our characters and worlds to life. We’re lucky to have him! 🎉 🎬 What is your role at Animagic? "I’m a 3D modeler and rigger. Anything 3D related—characters, movement, scenarios, props—you name it, I’m on it!" 🎓 What has been your educational/professional journey before joining Animagic? "I’ve had a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to my education. I started out studying animation, but university got too expensive, and I dropped out. So, I taught myself, hustled, and eventually landed at Animagic." 🎮📚 What hobbies do you have, and what do you enjoy doing when you're not at work? "I love Reading History and sci-fi. Videogames of course. Really enjoy traditional sculpting and lately I'm getting into D&D because I do not possess as much financial responsibility as I like to think." ✨ What are your favorite Animagic projects you’ve worked on? "Definitely Stay Dead. I really love doing goofy stuff for a living!" 📈 Is there anything you find especially rewarding about the last year of work at Animagic? "Seeing how well my brother fit into the team has been amazing. And with our department getting more work, there's definitely a lot to be grateful for!" 🌟 Celebrating Javier "Gallo" on his Animagic Anniversary! 🌟 Today marks the day Javier, affectionately known as "Gallo," joined the Animagic team! He has animated our projects and our hearts with his incredible talent and dedication. Thank you Gallo! 🎨 🎬 What is your role at Animagic? "I’m a 2D animator, working primarily in After Effects and also doing some frame-by-frame animation to assist Jordi (director)." 🎓🌍What has been your educational/professional journey before joining Animagic? "I have a degree in Visual Arts and specialized in animation through online courses and self-teaching. I bring 8-9 years of experience, having passed through various studios and worked as a freelancer since I started as an animator." 🕹️🛹What hobbies do you have, and what do you enjoy doing when you're not at work? "One of my hobbies is animation haha (a bit exhausting since it's also my job), video games, specifically Smash Bros, and currently, mainly skateboarding." 🌟💬What are your favorite Animagic projects you've worked on? "I think my favorite project has been the sticker pack for Discord, the project with which I entered the studio." 📈💼 Is there anything you find especially rewarding about the last year of work at Animagic? "I'm really pleased to see how much the studio has grown and how much the processes have been polished and function much better than they did before."
