#storytime: I've had this hair "tool" since the '80s, when I would get perms regularly to give me volume, and because they were cool. duh. 😏 Yes, that's over 40 years of service. She looks pretty good, right? I mean, I would only need her during perm "seasons"...but since last summer when my hair turned curly naturally 😳, I've been using her DAILY! Recently she started to be "challenged"; randomly turning off, or not turning on until I held her just right...and her power was declining 🥺 ...she was basically gasping for breath... but as an eternal optimist, I thought we could just continue, making the most of our time together, and things would work out. Steve must have noticed, as he ordered me a NEW hair diffuser, that is shiny, super powerful and efficient, and I love it! It dries my hair faster and its less frizzy! THEN, I had a lightbulb moment! 💡 Sometimes we get so used to the OLD tools/systems/strategies that we've always used, because we are comfortable OR we don't know that there are better ones out there. 🤯 OR maybe we think that NEW tools/systems/strategies are going to COST MORE...or TAKE MORE TIME... SO, we keep trying to make the OLD ones work. We limp along, duct-taping what kinda works, hoping that it'll still work next time we go to use it. 🤦♀️ But we are actually spending MORE money on products to control the "frizz" in our business, and taking MORE time to get the job done.... 🤷♀️ Why, just WHY....? Because sometimes, we just don't know there is something better out there. It probably doesn't cost more money or time, its just different. Its probably just as easy to understand and works so much better then what we have now, and its not going to let us down or stop working when we need it the most. If you've been just like me and this "Curly Top", and realize that maybe you should find out what new tools/systems/strategies there are out there... just hit me up...I might have a few ideas that'll make your hair curl...in a good way! 😂 ❓Think I should throw her away, or donate her to a museum?

I find it so interesting that on 9/11, one of my books was purchased by someone in AUSTRALIA!!! Sept 11th was a day that caused so much anxiety, not only in America, but around the world and every year we remember all those emotions that we felt on that fateful day...and THIS was the day that someone who I've never met, who was on the other side of the world, decided to search for a book that would help reduce anxiety....and found MINE! 🙌 And they bought the soft cover journal too, not the Kindle version! This way they could hold it, and color in the doodles as they meditated and prayed over their journal answers, so they could track their progress and use it to encourage a friend. To know that in just 5 mins a day, over 31 days, that this person's life will transform from Overwhelmed to Overjoyed...brings ME absolute JOY!! If you are needing a little more JOY in your life, this might be something to help you too!

"And he said to them, 'Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.'" Mark 16:6 (NKJV) In this verse, an angel appears to the women who are visiting Jesus' tomb after his crucifixion. The angel tells them not to be afraid, because Jesus has risen from the dead. He then shows them the empty tomb where Jesus' body was laid. This verse is a powerful reminder of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a message of hope and victory over death. It is also a call to faith, because it shows us that Jesus is who he said he is: the Son of God who came to save the world. He is Risen Indeed! Happy Resurrection Sunday! 📷 Pisit Heng
