In February of last year, I was at a founder / investor retreat in Tahoe with folks building and investing across SaaS, DeepTech, Trad Payments, Proptech, Insurtech et al. Series A-D. When introducing myself to the room, I said that crypto and stablecoins will fundamentally transform global payments by an order of magnitude, and that we were building infrastructure to accelerate that change. I received audible laughs - with one person saying something to the effect of "You will be stuck in the trough of disillusionment for good". Another saying "Did you not hear about FTX?" I cannot wait to prove them wrong.
