Today, we announced the recipients of the Apache Corporation Tree Grant Program for the 2024-25 planting season. More than 134,000 trees will be donated across diverse eco-regions in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana, reaching 52 non-profit partner organizations and beautifying hundreds of communities. Since 2005, over 5 million trees have been granted to more than 1,000 organizations. Some of our team in Egypt recently joined the judging panel for the Youth Leaders Foundation She Leads program. The judges evaluated 245 entrepreneurial ideas from 1,900 girls and selected the winning applications to move forward in the program. This initiative teaches girls in Egyptian vocational schools about the attributes and qualities required to become a successful entrepreneur. #Apache #SheLeads 

More than 100 local vendors attended Apache’s Supplier Diversity Day in our Midland office. The day-long exhibition was dedicated to expanding supplier outreach in the Midland-Odessa area and supporting diverse suppliers through the certification process. Along with our partner TotalEnergies, we are pleased to announce that we have reached a positive final investment decision for the first oil development in Block 58, offshore Suriname. “I would first like to recognize TotalEnergies and Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V for their many contributions that have made today’s FID announcement possible,” said APA's chief executive officer John J. Today, we announced that Greg McDaniel has been appointed Vice President Apache Egypt Assets and Country Manager. “Egypt’s energy sector has a promising future under the direction of Minister Karim Badawi, and we look forward to continuing to build our strong partnership with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources - Egypt. Inspiring the next generation to be the future of the energy industry is essential for us to safely meet the world’s energy needs for decades to come. Nine Apache U.K. team members are volunteering to mentor students taking part in this year’s STEM in the Pipeline project, hosted by TechFest. Our mentors are working with two Aberdeen schools to support the teams in creating a field development plan using science, technology, engineering and math skills. #STEM #TechFest #Aberdeen

Our president and CFO, Steve Riney, delivered opening remarks to welcome Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, to a roundtable with industry leaders in Houston earlier this week. The minister confirmed Egypt’s drive to support the oil and gas industry and work with their partners, highlighting his focus on improving the country’s energy challenges. Mr. Riney spoke of our continued commitment to Egypt. We have operated in Egypt for more than 30 years and are the largest oil producer and onshore acreage holder in the country.

Our EVP of operations Clay Bretches and VP of EH&S Jessica Jackson hosted an executive contractor roundtable with valued partners in Aberdeen this week. It was an excellent opportunity for U.K. leaders to collaborate on their shared dedication to safety across the industry.
