About us
The Apartment Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, AAMP, is the preeminent voice of the multifamily housing industry in Western Pennsylvania AAMP was established in 1974 as a sister organization to the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, BAMP. Today, AAMP has grown to over 200 companies - apartment builders, developers, owners, managers, investors, financial institutions, suppliers, subcontractors, and utilities - working in the multi-family housing industry. Collectively, AAMP represents more than 100,000 units in Western Pennsylvania. Since its inception, AAMP’s mission has been constant. AAMP's primary purpose is to promote the common interests of its members, to provide information and education, while promoting multi-family living to the public. AAMP has been a positive influence in advocating pro-housing initiatives while promoting public policy actions that would enhance investment, sustainability and growth of the multi-family housing industry. AAMP provides targeted advocacy, networking events, educational opportunities, and social outings such as our Golf Outing. AAMP also holds an annual Trade Show and the Apartment Excellence Awards, which highlight the great work of our membership.
