Apaxis Medical, Inc. Apaxis is developing a set of surgical tools that enable safer and easier implantation of ventricular assist devices (VADs). Our patented tools ensure that VAD implantation is more reproducible across all experience levels. Furthermore, our tools and techniques minimize the amount of blood lost, reducing overall procedure cost and mitigating post-procedural complications.
