Every Dose Delivered Better.
About us
Welcome to Apiject, where our platform makes it possible for all injections everywhere to be delivered in a low-cost, prefilled device anyone can use. We start with an aseptically-filled Blow-Fill-Seal container prefilled with a single dose and then combine it with a pen needle hub. The single primary raw material, pharmaceutical-grade polymer resin, ensures safety and reliability, while the absence of glass makes it lightweight and break-resistant. Our injector cannot be refilled, mitigating the risk of syringe reuse that currently causes 1.3 million deaths annually. We envision a future where every country can reliably meet its citizens' needs for safe, smart, single-use, and universally accessible medical injections.

Bridging the Gap in Global Health Delivery The shift toward single-dose administration systems (like prefilled syringes) has largely benefited high-income countries, leaving #LMICs reliant on multi-dose vials. This disparity in access raises concerns about infection control and healthcare equity. Why It Matters: ✅ Prefilled syringes reduce contamination risks ✅ They improve dosing accuracy & efficiency ✅ Offer potential public health benefits globally The challenge? Making single-dose innovations affordable & accessible in LMICs. The latest review from Darin Zehrung and Michael J Free OBE, PhD explores solutions to close this gap. 📖 Read https://hubs.li/Q036YjKK0 #GlobalHealth #VaccineEquity #SingleDoseSolutions #HealthcareInnovation #drugdelivery #prefilledsyringes #PFS
