It’s not easy being green. But it is easy when utilizing the environmentally friendly, High Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) method to resurface cylinder rods for extended life vs. conventional electro-plating processes. And HVOF is something Spencer Fluid Power knows. HVOF is the best thermal spray method for hydraulic actuators (cylinder rods). HVOF includes the following benefits: - Reduces corrosion/rust on the surface of the component - Improves performance of cylindrical metal parts, dramatically lengthening component and seal life - Increases impact resistance - Eliminates carcinogenic chromic acid solutions during the process Want to learn more? Our PowerSync™ process enables us to “Create. Commission. Connect.” taking your electrification requirements and turning them into reality. We’ve reviewed the project, created a plan, gathered the parts…now we Connect. This is where in-house testing and validation occur, and where the HMI screens are designed and reviewed. The product and data acquisition equipment are then integrated into the equipment for testing. Once testing is successfully completed, model part numbers are assigned for production. And then: production begins. It’s all part of the care we take to craft a solution that’s right for you and helps you get to where you want to be. Let’s start making your electrification aspirations a reality. We are ready to help you Create. Commission. And Connect.. https://hubs.la/Q02QW6lV0 #WeAreApplied #Electrification #ElectrificationJourney

It’s all in the details. When working on new electrification projects, we take the time to carefully outline the scope of the work involved and refine the details with PowerSync™, our unique collaborative process that guides how we work with you to Create a solution, Commission the work, and Connect the final application. Once we’ve defined the project’s requirements and Create a solution, it’s time to Commission. With the project defined and carefully planned, the next step is to assemble everything to bring the project to life. The bill of materials is created, the necessary components are pulled from our extensive inventory, and our team is ready to put it all together. Let’s talk about a solution that’s right for you. True or False: Making the change to electrification is as simple as flipping a switch. True…and False: While there are no “one size fits all” solutions, making the change to electrification, when carefully planned, can make for a smooth transition. When working with Applied Fluid Power, our unique PowerSync™ process allows us to craft a solution that meets your own unique needs. We start off with meeting with you to understand the project in depth. This is the research, or discovery, phase. Because every conversion is unique, it’s important to take the time to conduct a high-level review of the current process and understand the structure to determine where electrification fits into the strategy, and where it makes the most sense. Are you ready to take the first step? Contact us for an evaluation of your own unique setup, and how electrification can benefit you. https://hubs.la/Q02Q1P3F0 #WeAreApplied #Electrification

Did You Know: In 1879, Cleveland, OH, became the first U.S. city to use electricity for lighting? First developed in Europe in 1802, by the 1850s the carbon arc lamp was built using a magneto-electric generator until the 1870s, when it was run using a Gramme generator utilizing direct current. Tinkering with the technology in his home, in 1878 Cleveland’s Charles Brush perfected the dynamo arc light, giving its first public demonstration in Cleveland’s Public Square on April 29, 1879. Cleaner and safer than other fuels of the time such as kerosene, gas, and wood, electricity quickly became popular as a source for not only lighting but heating, cooking, and more. Today, electrification continues to light the way forward. Building on the idea of utilizing electricity to make where we live, work and play safer and cleaner, Applied Fluid Power has distinguished itself as a leader in implementing electrification to increase productivity and decrease costs. iVT 2024 is winding down, but it was a great show. We had some great conversations and learned a lot. Even more, the interest in electrification - and its embrace by many - has been astonishing. As one attendee put it, “Four years ago, people were talking about it. But it wasn’t until two years ago that it really started to make an impact.” We couldn’t agree more. Join us as we take the next year to really explore the possibilities of electrification, and how we can put this transformational technology to work for you. Interested to learn more?
