I’m thrilled to announce my next chapter starting as Chief Technology Officer of Applied General Intelligence, and when better than on my birthday! The past few years working at Blue Origin have been amazing. The people I worked with and learned from made it a time of my life I am always going to value. I’m lucky to have worked with such brilliant and ambitious people. What the team at Blue Origin is doing is something really special, and I’m incredibly grateful to have played a role. I know they will continue pulling off the unbelievable and changing the future. I believe AGI is the most important technology in the world with massive implications spanning every facet of humanity. What I saw when I talked with the two co-founders, Jerry and Kurt made it clear to me that they have the right approach to solving for true AGI. Understanding the potential impact of this technology and the thoughtfulness of the people working on it, it became clear that this was the right time for me to join AGI and confront this challenge alongside them. When we say AGI, we’re taking about a highly opinionated approach that looks beyond LLMs. It means developing these incredible aspects of Ai without needing massive data centers and Nuclear Power Plants to do it! I’ll be excited to share some incredible updates with you all in the coming months. This is a pivotal moment in time. We must ensure we build AGI in a way that promotes a better future for all. At Applied General Intelligence, we’re creating that future. I can’t wait to share more of it with all of you and the world soon.
