At Applied Molecules, this week we’re pushing the limits with our latest innovation—UV and LED curable composites that handle tough, impact-resistant, and flexible applications, even at 1/8" thickness and highly filled compositions. 🚀 Why does this matter? We are working with a customer that has a traditional binders that take up to 48 hours to cure, requiring massive space and slow production cycles. This is to a point of stopping growth. Our energy-cured materials cut down that time dramatically enabling the growth of this process/product—no more extensive storage or waiting around. Just quick cure, box, and ship! We need to demonstrate the material was impact resistant. This is a quick test, but fun to watch and hear! UV is a game changer for industries looking to optimize without expanding their footprint. 📦🌍 And yes, it’s environmentally friendly and non-toxic, aligning with your green goals. 👀 Curious about how UV can revolutionize your production process? Let’s connect and dive deeper into the science behind what many thought was impossible! #CompositeMaterials #Innovation #Sustainability #AppliedMolecules #ManufacturingExcellence

How thick can you make a UV material cure? Chatbot says about 1/2” or 10mm! At Applied Molecules we like to push boundaries. How about 2” or more? This material AM129-41 is part of a series of thick cure materials we are developing based on our patented PVR technology. What you see in the photos below was cured in 20 secs with LED 405 nm, when cooled it is a 96 shore A or a 80 shore D. We put it in the sun for an afternoon (in Florida) and no yellowing. We are testing to see how thick we can cure this. We know 2” is not the limit. I have challenged Nicholas Gripp and Isabella Snowwhite to try 4”. #thickcureUV #uvpour #uvcasting
