It's never been more important for Higher Ed to find ways to do more with less and that certainly applies to how your software applications are accessed and delivered. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to share how we can help Higher Ed to deliver a great student experience while creating IT efficiencies at #UNCCause this week. Thanks to those who took the time to attend. And if you missed it are interested in a conversation about your institution's needs, feel free to reach out, we are happy to help! AppsAnywhere is the ultimate cloud-based solution for simplified academic software delivery, at scale.
About us
AppsAnywhere is the world's only software delivery and application virtualization solution dedicated to higher education. Used and loved by more than 2 million students in universities and colleges across North America and Europe. Today, 15 apps are launched by students and staff through AppsAnywhere every second, worldwide! We’re the world leaders in software delivery and application virtualization in education. We get asked the same questions by IT teams the world-over... "How do I deliver an awesome student experience? I have 100s of apps, 1,000s of students and 10,000+ devices. My image is massive and VDI and RDS is either too expensive or it's not working for us. I want students to be able to get apps anywhere they are and on any device, and I want to support BYOD. What should I do?” Through AppsAnywhere we've helped IT teams across the planet deliver any application to devices on and off campus, including virtualizing previously "unvirtualizable" applications such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, ArcGIS and SPSS. By delivering software on-demand to Windows, macOS and Chromebooks, we're proud to be improving the student experience by making apps available wherever and whenever they're needed. For our inaugural #ThrowbackThursday, here's a fun "then and now" post about Pete. Peter Cooke is our Chief Operations Officer and Board Member. He joined AppsAnywhere over 8 years ago, to grow and lead the marketing function, before taking on the COO role. Pete is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to higher education IT, and has been instrumental in the evolution of our technology. Some fun facts about this proud Cumbrian: he is a great piano player, and has a background in music. And he is related to Beatrix Potter. And above all, he is a really friendly guy. Pete will be on the AppsAnywhere stand at EDUCAUSE next week so please go and say hello. Or ask him more about his great aunt, Beatrix Potter...

What an incredible Online SUMMIT with our Norwegian customer base! We had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic session, led by our very own Freddie Swales, Leon Walsh, Spencer Vale, and Matthew Williamson. The event brought together our community for a deep dive into our roadmap, the latest updates on support and services, and a valuable knowledge-sharing session. It’s always a pleasure to connect, learn, and share ideas that will shape the future of AppsAnywhere. A huge thank you to everyone who joined and made this event a success. We’re excited to continue building strong relationships with our customers in Norway and beyond. Here’s to many more collaborative sessions!

Speaking of winners... Congratulations to Richard Fuller from University of York for his (almost exact) guess of how many Lego pieces were in the jar - there were 205, his guess was 204. His colleague Christopher Nethercott seemed more than happy to pick up the Lego hamper on his behalf 😊 Alexandra Tant Freddie Swales Michelle Craig Mady Maplethorpe

Customers' success is why we exist. Lovely read from our Head of Support Matthew Williamson on his obsession with delighting customers, and the accountability principles across our teams.
My first article delves into the experiences customers have out in the world and how accountability as a core principle drives real change! #CustomerExperience #Customers #CustomerService
