Great work, Cristina Benavides!
Today, I had the incredible opportunity to present my team’s work on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Inpatient Mental Health (IMH) program at the American Public Health Association’s Annual Meeting and Expo. Our evaluation of the IMH program highlights the association between Veteran sociodemographic and clinical characteristics and the likelihood of 30-day readmission to IMH services. This work suggests areas where targeted interventions could help further reduce readmissions for at-risk groups and enhance patient outcomes. Thanks to everyone on the Clay Hunt Evaluation Team and the marketing team at Aptive Resources for working on this stellar poster! #APHA2024 #PublicHealth #Health #VeteranHealth #MentalHealth | Aptive Resources
