We had a great time at the West Michigan Asian American Association's 2024 Asian Gala, which highlighted the many firsts and accomplishments of Asian Americans in our community and the work that still needs to be done regarding health disparities. In 2022, the CDC reported the leading cause of death for AANHPI people ages 15-24 was suicide. Asian American Adults are half as likely to receive mental health services than their non-Hispanic White peers. This highlights disparities in mental health care that need to be addressed. At Arbor Circle, we provide culturally responsive support for all clients. We actively advocate for broader access to mental health services, ensuring everyone receives the help they deserve. #MentalHealth #Community

Be proud of who you are and your support for LGBTQIA+ equality this National Coming Out Day 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ We take pride in being a welcoming and affirming organization to LGBTQIA+ staff, clients, and the community. Sharing your authentic self with others is not always safe or easy, and it is not a one-day event — but when possible, it can be an extraordinarily powerful key to breaking down the barriers faced by LGBTQIA+ people. https://lnkd.in/gyyB78cZ #NationalComingOutDay

At Arbor Circle, we prioritize our staff's mental health as much as those they support. We create an environment where caring for oneself is as important as caring for others 🌈 Everyone deserves a supportive network and the resources necessary to flourish at work. This #MentalIllnessAwarenessWeek, take a moment to express your true feelings. Each candid conversation helps us build a stronger community. Let’s openly embrace these discussions—not only for ourselves but to build community. #WorldMentalHealthDay #NAMIStigmaFree
