Our Discover department brought Dino 🦕 Stem classes to Synergy Charter. The kids had so much fun getting their hands dirty. 

CalSAC has launched the Teens Advocating for Civic Action (TACA) with a 2-day Training of Program Leaders on October 2nd - 3rd in Torrance. We were thrilled to have the attendance of program leaders from partner organizations such as Arc After School & Experiential Education, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles, Bay Area Community Resources (BACR), EduCare Foundation, and Woodcraft Rangers. The TACA Training of Program Leaders aims to deepen participants' understanding of civic engagement, movement building, and youth activism. It builds leadership and advocacy skills, increases confidence in facilitating the TACA program, and fosters a sense of community among program leaders. The Leadership Club at Davinci Science Charter wanted to go on a fall break field trip to Arc’s San Diego headquarters! They sat in on a new hire orientation, interviewed staff and got official Arc swag 💙 We were so happy to have them. Their enthusiasm lit up the office.
