We collected more than 3 trucks full of samples and supplies which will be distributed to educators and community artisans for free. We try to be as sustainable as possible in our work, and organizations like ZeroLandfill help divert thousands of pounds of materials away form landfills. This past weekend the Aria Group Sharks softball team took part in Opportunity Knocks softball tournament! We may not have won it all, but we had a great time playing and raising money for Opportunity Knocks. They do amazing work in the Chicagoland area, creating community and interdependent connections where people with different abilities can thrive. This summer our office took on the challenge of caring for dwarf sunflower seedlings. In the name of mindfulness and friendly competition each team decorated pots and adopted two plants, trying to keep them watered and happy throughout the sunniest months of the year. These little stems offered us inspiration, some fresh greenery in the office, and a reminder to look after our own health habits as well. Though some of them did not make it the full season, we ended up with some beautiful September blooms! #ariagroup #mindfulness #summer
