Meet Rolando Cruz Rolando, our warehouse manager at ACB, found his career path to this role to be somewhat unexpected. It just goes to show you that our founder Jeff, finds talent in unexpected places. In the early stages of Rolando's career, he consistently displayed initiative. Starting as a Machine Operator, his deep understanding of the machinery led to a swift transition to a Maintenance Technician before joining ACB. Jeff's recognition of Rolando's potential, despite his lack of warehouse management background, highlights the importance of looking beyond a resume. Rolando takes pride in contributing to impactful products and exhibits dedication through meticulous material management. Apart from his professional commitments, his dedication to his family brings him immense joy and keeps him on the go! With six years at the company, Rolando's insights on growth are highly valuable. One aspect he particularly enjoys about working at ACB is the camaraderie with his colleagues. Rolando brightens our office with his infectious smile, radiating positivity wherever he goes. Meet Liz. Liz is one of our quality specialists and has been on our team since Feb 2021. She transitioned to ACB thanks to her fiancé's recommendation. Liz is a pet lover and her dream earlier in her career was to pursue veterinary science. Although Liz did not become a veterinarian, she did get to apply her love for pets by working at Petco as a salon manager. Liz remained on this path for over 9 years. She chose to transition to ACB because of the emotional bond she shared with the pets she looked after and the difficulty she experienced whenever one of her beloved furry companions passed away. While her passion for animals endures, she found fulfillment in switching to ACB and applying her expertise in microbiology and chemistry. Liz plays a crucial role at ACB by overseeing the testing of raw materials and our finished products. Outside of work, she enjoys being creative, exploring the outdoors, and gaming. Though her entry into the health and nutrition industry was serendipitous, she has developed a deep passion for it. Liz takes great pride in the products we create at ACB and is always eager to discover the benefits they provide to users. Within our team, Liz shines brightly. Her friendly nature, genuine care for colleagues, and dedication to the company are truly inspiring. Exciting Introduction of LaTeisha Yazzie at Arizona Custom Blends LaTeisha Yazzie, known as Tish at ACB, is a highly passionate member of our team. With a background in the jewelry and retail industries, she caught the attention of our CEO at a previous workplace they shared. LaTeisha's exceptional work ethic and talent impressed the team, leading to her joining ACB when Jeff founded the company. Starting in weigh-out tasks, she swiftly transitioned to various production roles and excelled in the quality department due to her keen eye and meticulous nature. Her dedication is inspired by the end-users of the products we craft at ACB, and she strives for perfection in every item produced. As our Document Control Manager, LaTeisha plays a crucial role in our operations, and we are thrilled to have her on board. Outside of work, LaTeisha enjoys attending concerts, participating in 5k runs, and cherishing moments with her family. She is an avid pet lover and owner of a dog and a cat, fittingly, as we also specialize in pet products (feel free to ask us about producing them for YOU). LaTeisha's passion for the health and nutrition industry aligns perfectly with her career transition, thanks to meeting the right individuals at the right time.
