The Arizona Bar Foundation honors Rick Palmatier from the State Bar of Arizona as October Volunteer of the Month, recognizing his dedication to the Wills for Heroes program. Rick is the lead volunteer coordinator for this program, not only giving his legal expertise at the wills events, but coordinating with first responder agencies and volunteer attorneys, notaries and witnesses to make the events happen. Rick spearheaded a review of the wills template to make sure first responders were receiving a will that was the most legally up to date and user-friendly document. Rick has been an invaluable resource for the program, leveraging his extensive legal knowledge to conduct thorough and insightful training sessions for fellow volunteers. He has empowered volunteer attorneys to confidently participate in this program. Rick’s dedication to Wills for Heroes has significantly increased Wills for Heroes’ reach and effectiveness. Thank you, Rick, for your service to Arizona first responders! Learn more about volunteering with the Arizona Bar Foundation here: https://lnkd.in/gUps-7kX
