Pitch counts in Major League Baseball do not significantly predict future injuries in pitchers, as evidenced by a study examining various cumulative work metrics. Despite the common practice of limiting pitches and innings to mitigate injury risk, the research found no statistically significant correlation between these metrics and subsequent injury days. This suggests that relying solely on pitch counts may be inadequate for preventing injuries. Instead, a more comprehensive approach, incorporating factors such as intensity, recovery, and biomechanics, is necessary to better understand and manage injury risks in pitchers. Remember, Strength Matters Most

When implemented correctly, an arm care program can benefit athletes of any age by building strength and reducing the risk of injuries, as it prepares them physically for stress they will experience when they enter a competitive environment. We've seen players as young as 7 or 8 successfully integrate the ArmCare App into their routines, leading to significant improvements in throwing strength, mechanics, and overall coordination. Even though the ArmCare App is suitable for younger athletes from a physical standpoint, it’s important to consider each player's readiness for more advanced training. With just 5 to 10 minutes of daily commitment required, if the program feels like a burden and affects their enjoyment of the sport, it might not be the right time to start. This is Matthew Pitz, with the help of the ArmCare app and the personalized training, he was able to see his arm strength go from a 70 to 82. With that gain in arm strength, Brendan was able to add 18 MPH on to his throwing velocity. He says "Armcare has helped me in many different ways. From pitching/throwing on the field to recovering and staying healthy off of the field. The Armcare program and its exercises works and tests many essential small muscles that you would never work on in the weight room. My velocity has increase by a drastic amount and I have had less arm pain. Adding this on to your throwing and/or workout program will increase your performance and help you achieve your goals."
