AOLC is seeking sponsorships from businesses and individuals to support our fundraising goals. Multiple levels of sponsorships are offered and each level is outlined in the enclosed attachment. AOLC is in need of your support! The 2024 Art of LIfe Charities (AOLC) "Heart to Heart" Gala will be Saturday, October 19th at 6:30pm at Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club in Gainesville, VA. The gala will be a culinary and art experience with hors d'oeuvres, sit-down dinner, drinks, live entertainment, music, silent auction and more! And all for a great cause! The monies Therapeutic Adventures Inc received from the 2022 Art of Life Charities GALA went to provide support for several of our programs: 1. Scholarship support for eight (8) individuals to participate in our 19th annual ADAPTIVE ANGLERS ON THE FLY - Fly Fishing Camp for Disabled. This is a co-ed, multi-generational camp for persons with a wide variety of physical and developmental disabilities. 2. Scholarship support for nineteen (19) adaptive athletes (youth and disabled veterans) to participate in our MASSANUTTEN ADAPTIVE SNOW SPORTS instructional programs. (a) a class of seven (7) special education students to experience skiing, (b) seven disabled veterans, (skiing/riding) and (c) our special ski/ride with a hero event that had disabled veterans mentoring our youth with disabilities. 3. Scholarship support for eight (8) women cancer survivors to participate in the 15th annual SPRING FLY FLING - Fly Fishing and Therapeutic Outdoor Retreat. A wonderful weekend of love and healing.
