🇱🇺 Exciting day at Artec 3D! We had the pleasure of welcoming the DLWI - Deutsch-Luxemburgische Wirtschaftsinitiative to our cutting-edge production facility in Luxembourg. DLWI President Stefan Pelger and other distinguished guests enjoyed a unique tour of our ISO-classified cleanroom, home to the creation of Artec 3D industry-leading scanners. Attendees were offered a rare behind-the-scenes look at the complex and participated in hands-on demos of Artec Leo and the all-new Artec Spider II. Alongside these two flagship scanners, our guests were introduced to the full range of Artec 3D solutions, from the precision-focused Artec Micro II to the long-range LiDAR scanner, Artec Ray II. After the tour, Artec 3D team engaged the guests in a discussion about all the possibilities of 3D scanning, its potential and applications across different industries. Through intuitive, non-invasive scanning, Unoarte immortalizes the Dragon, allowing its profound symbolism to inspire generations to come. Unoarte, an Italian tech specializing in the digital preservation and reproduction of art through next-gen, contact-free 3D scanning technology, used Artec Leo to capture a landmark 16-meters long, 7-meters-high dragon made of 6 tons of charred wood. After the scanning, they processed the scans in Artec Studio and used Geomagic Design X to fill in missing sections of the digital model, especially the upper parts left open to withstand winter conditions.
