The event took place in 1984 in New York City and was known almost as much for its iconic poster, designed by Keith Haring, as it was for the music and breakdance action on stage. Dom Perignon pays tribute to Jean-Michel Basquiat with a special edition of their Vintage 2015. For this tribute to Basquiat, Dom Pérignon chose a work by the artist that is as meaningful as it is enigmatic, “In Italian” (1983). The resonance between Dom Pérignon and the universe of Jean-Michel Basquiat is symbolized by a graphic and conceptual tête-à-tête that superimposes the shield, emblem of the Maison, and the three-branched crown, statement and a signature icon of the artist. H&M presents Disney’s Mickey Mouse x Keith Haring. H&M reimagines the inventive art of Keith Haring with its latest kidswear collection. Drawing on the artist’s signature Disney’s Mickey Mouse depictions, the collection, comprising clothes, shoes and accessories, features collages and all-over prints in the familiar shades of red, white and black, as well as a light denim blue. Oversized fits and boxy silhouettes create a streetwear vibe, with pieces including a baseball jacket, t-shirts, denim jackets and dungaree dresses.
