✨ Supporting at-home learning & literacy through the arts! ✨ Thanks to the REALAI Federal Grant, we distributed books with accompanying task cards and supplies to students at Lake City Center for the Arts in Florence, SC. All students left with at least two books as well as a goodie bag of materials to inspire and enhance creativity at home. Music + learning = endless possibilities! 🎶✨ We had an amazing time at Usher-Collier Elementary School (Atlanta Public Schools) with ArtsNOW Music Consultant Maribeth Yoder-White! On the first day of our visit, teachers learned how to seamlessly integrate music into lessons using soundscapes and rhythm to spark student engagement and enhance understanding across subjects. 🎤📚 Day 2 was all about the students! They dove into interactive lessons, exploring reading, prime numbers, and place value through body percussion and found sounds—bringing learning to life.
