Alifunce is 14-year old Asante Africa scholarship student whose uplifitng story is a testament to the change your support is activley creating in the lives of our students. Using the knowledge he gained from our Wezesha Vijana Program, he saved a portion of his pocket money and also solicited support from his uncle to invest in his idea to launch a poultry project. He purchased five hens, which have since grown to a flock of over 25 birds, making the project a profitable and successful venture. Alifunce’s ultimate dream is to become a modern farmer, and he is proactively seeking knowledge in the field. In sub-Saharan Africa, 16.7 million girls are out of school, leaving them vulnerable to a cycle of poverty and missed opportunities. At Asante Africa Foundation, we are committed to changing these statistics by creating safe spaces where girls can support each other and act as agents of change and leaders in their own right. We invite you to be part of this change. Visit https://lnkd.in/emiyZVZD to learn how. #AAFempowers #GirlsEducation #WomenEmpowerment #NextGenerationLeaders

“I am forever grateful for the one-time scholarship I received from Asante Africa Foundation. It has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. My mother was so relieved that I could continue my education without worrying about fees. I am confident that I will complete my education and acquire a job to support my family and myself.” Visit https://lnkd.in/gYbh5_Pz to read about Betty, who was able to continue her education with Asante Africa's one-time scholarship. #InternationalDayoftheGirlChild #AAFempowers #NextGenerationLeaders
