Last Saturday, members of the OCAPL (Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen) along with other community volunteers teamed up with Rebuilding Together to renovate a home for a family in need. The transformation was remarkable, and the family was incredibly grateful. This was one of the most meaningful projects I've been a part of. A big thank you to all the volunteers who braved the heat and put in so much effort. Your dedication is greatly appreciated, and together, we made a real difference in this family’s life! Special thanks are due to the following volunteers for their contributions: Luke Munson David C. Connolly Rachel Lenox Michael Brock Jennifer Volino Jordan D. Volino John Myles Nathan Enos Kaitlyn Booth Emoree Coley Tiffany Scurra Reginald Johnson Tyler Holmes Rick Buck + our young volunteers for their enthusiasm and hard work! I'd also like to extend a big thank you to our generous sponsors, whose support was essential to our success. Today it is our pleasure to highlight Ascent Resources Senior Staff Operations Engineer Matt Palmer for this week's #MemberMonday How long have you been in the industry? I started my career in 2015 when I graduated from WVU and went to work in the Haynesville, then transitioned to the Marcellus, and now in the prolific Utica Shale in Ohio. It is wonderful to be back home. What is your favorite part of the industry? I feel a deep satisfaction in contributing to the energy security of the world through the production of clean, reliable, responsibly sourced natural gas. The ever-evolving innovation and technological advancements of the industry both challenge me as an engineer as well as provide opportunities for additional learnings and growth. The energy industry has provided me a fulfilling career. What is something we don’t know about you? I am always up for new experiences or an adventure with family and friends. For instance, my father and I once learned to cut timber frames in Maine, and it was a fantastic experience to have together. My wife, Kara, and I have driven cross country twice stopping at numerous destinations along the way. To most recently, we ventured into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Together with Kara who has not camped before and 3 great friends, we paddled a 26 miles loop into the wilderness, portaged around beaver dams and rapids, and camped for a week on the U.S.-Canadian Border. Simply put, time spent with family and friends I value beyond measure.

At Ascent, we believe in the power of community and the strength of our team. We're proud to see our employees, such as Matthew Mroczkowski, actively engaging and making a difference beyond the workplace. We are dedicated members of Ohio Oil and Gas Association and appreciate their ongoing support in all aspects of our industry.
Sharing another #MemberMonday today and we are proud to highlight Matthew Mroczkowski from Ascent Resources. Matt is a member of our Producers' Committee and serves as Field Superintendent for Ascent. How long have you been in the industry? I have been in the industry 13 years. What is your favorite part about the industry? I enjoy many things about the O&G industry, but my favorite thing would probably be the people I get to interact with on a daily basis both internally and externally. I work with a great group of people who are passionate about their work and make every day enjoyable. I also get to work with and build strong relationships with landowners who allow us the opportunity to work with them to build pad locations on their property. What is something we don't know about you? I enjoy hunting, golfing and traveling with my wife (Kelly). This picture was on our recent trip to Scotland.
