Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of North Carolina who are rebuilding after the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Before the hurricane news took over the airwaves to help keep people safe and informed, the news covered a project that ASEC is proud to have been involved with. Dorothea Dix Park is a popular gathering space in Raleigh. Throughout the year, people visit the park for concerts, exercise, a pumpkin patch, and to see the famous Sunflower Field. When Duke Energy Corporation started work on new transmission structures, the community took the opportunity to do something different and artistic. A local architect designed the petals of these unique towers after being inspired by the Sunflower Field. ASEC was called in for our expertise in aesthetic power delivery structures. We worked with the architect, designed the poles and rings, and collaborated with another engineering firm to handle the loads. Check out the link to this news story to learn more about this one-of-a-kind project. It's amazing to see these structures come to life. Thanks to everyone involved! https://lnkd.in/d_HBCzUz #Aesthetic #PowerDelivery #StructuralEngineering #Collaboration #DixPark #Sunflowers

ASEC hosts special events for our staff to build their relationships and to strengthen our corporate culture of camaraderie. A few of our staff members stepped out of their routine and in front of the camera to talk about their favorite events and how employee connections make us a stronger company. Thanks to all the folks who coordinate our events, to everyone who attends and makes them enjoyable and memorable, and to our leadership team for prioritizing a healthy corporate culture. #PowerDelivery #EngineeringFirm #SpecialEvents #Culture #Camaraderie #Connections

ASEC India is growing! Many firms in our industry utilize international resources, but what makes ASEC different, is the fact that our international team is in-house versus being subcontractors. Our US-based teams oversee projects and train our new engineers to ensure the highest quality. Our utility clients appreciate the efficiencies we create by speaking directly to the engineers who are working on their projects, which cuts down on project management time and keeps cost down. Please join us in welcoming the following individuals to ASEC India! Arun Singh, Damodara Palavalasa, Jayaghosh Halaki, Keerthi Balagari, Mansi Jha, Neelam Rani, Ramoji Rao, Rupam Sohal, Saikiran Naikoti, Saketh Angara, and Sohel Quraishi. We're already seeing your contributions and can't wait to see how these talented people will help shape the future of our company and the industry as a whole! #Welcome #ATeam #India #ASECIndia #International #PowerDelivery #Engineering #EngineeringCareers #Future #Growth

Get to know Jeremy Hamilton, who is a Project Control Specialist in our San Diego office. He is a highly-motivated and thoughtful individual who has applied his deep experience in project management to our industry and has helped ASEC evolve our processes. We value your contributions and hope you'll be calling ASEC home for years to come! Q: What made you choose the field of Engineering? A: Personally, I got lucky. I never really thought I would be working in this field. Granted I’m still in some form of project management, which has been my career the last 10 or so years, I think it’s a lot more of luck that got me in this industry to be honest. Q: Who has been a major influence in your life? A: This may come across as a bit full of myself, but to be honest I’ve pretty much been the most influential person in my life. Considering I’m not married and don’t have children, ultimately, I have to be self-motivated. Also, at the same time I’ve worked really hard to not compare myself to others and to be the best version of myself. Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years,10 years? A: In the next 10 years, ideally, I would like more responsibilities and develop more experience at ASEC. I would like to stay with the company for a long time because this would mean that I finally found a company where I could call home. Q: What qualities do you bring to ASEC Engineers? A: I have a lot of experience in management strategies and problem solving. Both in life and in work I’ve always had to be precise and strategic. #EmployeeSpotlight #ATeam #SanDiego #ProjectControls #ProjectManagement #PowerDelivery
