Mission To advance Asian American professionals to leadership roles through training, networking, and collaboration. Since 1999, AAPA has been a catalyst for change in the Asian American community within corporate America. With a track record of mentoring over 1,300 professionals in our signature Mentorship Program, we've witnessed over 70% of mentees achieving promotions post-program. Our impactful Mentorship Program doesn't just benefit mentees; mentors are 6 times more likely to be promoted and 20% more likely to receive a raise. AAPA extends its influence by training leaders for non-profit boards through our Board Leadership Program, leaving a positive mark on local organizations. Moreover, our Toastmasters Chapter empowers minority professionals to find and amplify their voices in the workplace. In response to the pandemic, we've adapted, offering community-informed workshops and support. Hi Friends, as many of you know, AAPA is celebrating its 25th Anniversary, and I’m celebrating my 40th this year! 🥳 AAPA has been helping to mentor, uplift, and empower Asian American professionals for 25 years. I didn’t really have mentors growing up and I didn’t realize how important mentors were until I was in college. Through the work I’ve done with AAPA, I’ve witnessed a level of care and support from our mentors that I wish I had when I first entered the workplace. This is my small way of giving back to baby Karen 🫶🏽 In honor of this milestone, I’m tying my birthday to a giving campaign.
