We are currently hiring full-time and part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in community-based homes and Day Program settings in Buffalo and the surrounding areas. As a DSP, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities, including personal hygiene care, meal prep, feeding, and administering medication. The night was made even more special by our incredible host, Mary Alice Demler, WGRZ Channel 2 News Anchor, who shared her personal connection to our mission of inclusivity and opportunity. Colgate and Eckloff Bakery were honored for their unwavering commitment to inclusive employment practices and their support of individuals in our Pre-Vocational and Transition Services programs. Their dedication to creating opportunities and fostering a supportive environment for these individuals highlights the importance of community and meaningful employment. Held annually on the second Monday of October, Indigenous Peoples' Day is a time to celebrate and honor the rich culture, history, and contributions of Indigenous communities. It also provides an opportunity for reflection and education on the injustices of the Indigenous population. This day encourages reconciliation, fostering understanding, and unity.

Aspire of WNY is hiring Teacher Aide Subs to support children with developmental disabilities, ranging from preschool to 21 years old, in a school setting and at the Daycare Center at Aspire of WNY’s Center for Learning. Hours are available Monday through Friday, and responsibilities include assisting students in all aspects of programming, including recreational and educational activities.
