Located ten miles downriver from Bethel, Napakiak is home to the William N. Miller K-12 Memorial School, which faced an early closure due to severe bank erosion. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our construction team, we successfully demolished the old school, ensuring it didn’t fall into the Kuskokwim River. The new school site has been under construction since the Fall of 2023 and is on track for completion in time for the start of the 2025 school year. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this critical project a success for the community!   Project Manager: Marissa Myrick Construction Engineers: Fa'amao Asafo, Grace Aga, & Brian Broberg

Congrats to Curtis Richardson! Curtis is a dedicated team member who consistently demonstrates his commitment to safety and teamwork. His proactive approach not only drives safe execution of work for our crews in the field but also fosters a positive work environment both onsite and in the office. He exemplifies our HSE culture by volunteering on the safety committee and collaborating with project teams to evaluate HSE observations, concerns, and incidents. His diligence in setting up job site activities, assessing hazards, and reviewing processes has significantly contributed to the safety of his coworkers while also reducing operational project costs. Curtis truly embodies the spirit of the Umialik Award. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

In June, ASRC Construction proudly participated in Lemonade Day, a community event in Unalakleet where residents sold their home-cooked goods, crafts, and artwork. Our team joined by hosting a BBQ fundraiser. We're excited to share that we raised $581, which was donated to Pastor Razzo to assist a group of local youth on their upcoming trip to California. The event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, enjoy great food, and support a meaningful cause. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and contributed to the success of this event!
