Some of our dogs are not suited to become fully jacketed assistance dogs, but that doesn't stop them from continuing to transform lives! We have alternate career pathways for our dogs, two of which are our recently launched 'Canine home assistance' and 'Canine companion' services. Find out more about these careers on page 7 of our latest edition of Let's Go! magazine. https://lnkd.in/gGGbSqkS

Despite all the election buzz, Assistance Dogs still stole the show at Parliament this week! Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK) held two fantastic events where our members and assistance dog partnerships engaged with a wide range of MPs, after which we hosted All-Party Dog Welfare Advisory Working Group event with our friends Assistance Dogs International. We were also invited to give evidence at the Women and Equalities Committee session on Assistance Dogs the following day - what a great week! #AssistanceDogs #Parliament #ADUK #DogWelfare #EqualityMatters

Go grab a cuppa in your next break and watch this incredible video by ADUK Member Service Dogs UK talking about the amazing work they do. Pack of tissues optional (but we recommend)
To coincide with #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek next week, we are launching a new 16-minute video that highlights the transformative work that we do for members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services Community. The video is a compelling and heartwarming journey into the lives of those affected by #PTSD who have served, and the positive changes that we, as a small but growing charity, are bringing about, for Veterans, their families and the dogs themselves. To watch the full video, please visit https://lnkd.in/eCqfZ-HM To sponsor one of our dogs, please visit https://lnkd.in/ehwZx7iH To send us a donation, please visit https://lnkd.in/epWAXida #TwoataTime #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #Veteran #AssistanceDogs #ServiceDogs #ServiceDogsUK #ArmedForces #EmergencyServices #RescueDogs
